I am going cycling with my family next weekend. We are going to visit Písek. It is a beautiful town in South Bohemia. I must prepare everything for our two children, Peter and Nicol. We are going to take our bikes and everything that is necessary. We are going to travel by car. I sometimes drive, but my husband is going to drive this time. We are going to stay in a small family hotel. The rooms have a nice view of Kamenný most which is the oldest bridge in middle Europe. It is older than Charles Bridge.

We're going to leave Prague at 11 o'clock on Friday morning. Písek is about 120 kilometres south of Prague. The way is going to take 2 1/2 hours. We're going to stop in town Příbram on the way there. We don't want to stay in Příbram for long. We can have something to eat and drink there. We're going to leave Příbram at about 1 p.m. and arrive in Písek at 1.30 p.m. překlad do češtiny   on / off

We're going on a cycling tour on Saturday. The tour is 42 kilometres long. We're going to start in Písek at 9 o'clock in the morning. We're going to cycle through picturesque countryside and nice villages. We're going to visit an old little fort from the 13th century in Kestřany which is about 10 kilometres south-west of town Písek. It's a very nice place near the Otava River. We're going to have a picnic and spend the whole afternoon there. It's going to be great.

Budoucí čas - going to

1. Vyjádřuje budoucí děj, který byl již dříve naplánován nebo zamýšlen.
We are going to visit the gallery today. Dnes navštívíme galerii.
When are you going to finish it? Kdy to dokončíte.

2. Na základě pozorování vidíme nebo jsme si jisti, že se něco stane.

Look! That glass is going to fall off the table. Podívej! Ta sklenice spadne ze stolu.

! Se slovesy go a come obvykle nepoužíváme tvar going to, ale přítomný čas průběhový:
- We are going to the country this weekend (nepoužívá se going to go).
- They are coming in the afternoon (nepoužívá se going to come).

! Vazba going to pro vyjádření budoucího času se často překládá do češtiny jako:
- plánovat, hodlat, mít v úmyslu nebo chtít

Rozdíl mezi going to a will (will je v předcházející lekci – L 9).
He will visit his mother this Saturday. On navštíví svou matku v sobotu.

He will visit his mother this Saturday.

Není to jeho plán nebo záměr. Možná se tak rozhodl po telef. rozhovoru.
He is going to visit his mother this Saturday.
Je to již dříve plánovaná akce nebo činnost.
I am going to cook lunch today.

Toto je také dříve plánovaná činnost. Plánuji předem, že uvařím kuře. Koupil jsem ingredience nebo vše připravil.
